There are no terms or expressions, at least in in English language to describe the ancient art form of Kathakali from Kerala, India. At best it can be described as a fantasy in music, dance and expressions of human body attired in exotic costumes and made up of exquisite art work painstakingly done by hands for each performance. The artist who render the costume (Vesham) and make up (Chutty) to each character also becomes a performer by rendering his work like in this example.
