The way News will travel in the twenty first century and why it won’t be fake
The US Senate has asked Facebook, Twitter and Google to release
Russian ads which apparently interfered with the 2016 U S Presidential
election.
Fake news is a major issue the social media is trying to cope with.
Paybookclub, a media start up thinks that the problem will
not overshadow the next election as it has developed a system which can
revolutionise the way News will be created and emanated, a system which blocks out fake news and their creators right at the source.
Paybookclub is a cloud based, AI driven, content procurement
and distribution platform based on a social network on mobile phones.
A mobile App developed by this innovative platform generates
content including news as it occurs and distributes it through thousands and
even millions of content boxes placed on web sites and other forms of social media.
To understand how
Paybookclub will make a difference, one need to examine how media is generated and distributed right
now.
Editorial control which is mostly human and expensive, exists only with
established media and adds a significant time lag from generation to dissipation.
Almost everything placed on social media escapes scrutiny
and binding ownership as all social media accounts are not tied to verified
human beings.
Paybookclub, to start with, verifies each account and make sure
that it is traced to a mobile phone. As
it is a member rewarding platform, each account is also tied to a banking system
where accounts are traceable to individuals.
Such predefined and assigned ownership ties the content
generated to the responsibility of the individual member. Fake content can be
generated, but who will willingly create it if it has to be owned?
As for its emanation, in the current system it can be on the
wire once it is filed by a reporting agency, reaching worldwide media outlets instantly, who then disburse it to the various
channels and audience they serve.
This process inherently lack full editorial control and
fake news and content can often creep in or be intentionally injected, which
happens more often than not.
Paybookclub will have an AI driven content verification
system which will contextually analyse, evaluate and validate each piece of
content uploaded by responsible owners, whose identity has been verified.
But more important is the human curation by thousands of
members who scrutinise and vet and classify the content for its monetisation.
But the significant impact Paybookclub will have, is in the
distribution. Through the content box strategically placed on millions of web
pages, content based on key words and
other filtering system is placed right in front of an audience to whom it
really matters, almost instantaneously as it is generated.
To know how the innovations of Paybookclub, which aspires to
be the content market place of the world, will change the way the world will
live with content, the simple Content Box is the starting place.

Romantic Destinations À La Mode
Marina Bay Sands
An Everlasting Kiss in Guanajuato Callejón del Beso
Once upon a time there two Mexican lovers, Carlos and Ana, who lived in a little town called Guanajuato. They were in love but were forbidden to see each other, as Ana was promised to an old, but rich gentleman. To see Ana, Carlos moved into the apartment across the tiny street where Ana’s balcony and his balcony were so close, they almost literally touched. At night they would reach over and steal kisses until Ana’s father discovered them. In rage, he stabbed his daughter with a knife, and Ana in her last moments crawled to the balcony to kiss Carlos one last time. The legend says, you must go with your beloved to the alley and kiss on the third step to ensure eternal love. Apart from the romance, the city is quite charming, famous for its colonial architecture.
Your fear of heights is probably best left at home when it comes to this pool on top of Hotel Marina Bay Sands in Singapore. The pool is 200 meters above the ground, on the 57th floor, with a fabulous view over the vibrant city. As the edge of the pool unites with the sky, you should almost feel like you are in heaven surrounded by palm trees cocktails in the arms of your loved one. Perhaps not the cheapest, but definitely one of the most exotic getaways on top of one of the largest and most modern cosmopolitan cities in the world!
An Afternoon Tea of Class in London
Prêt-à -Portea
Enjoy a fashionable Tea at the Berkley Hotel with your beloved. Each season, Prêt-à -Portea is served with cake shaped as the seasons collections, for instance from Jason Wu, or Stella McCartney. The tea is served in with love (lately on Paul Smith plates) at the Caramel Room between 13:00 - 18:00 o’clock. Of course a little shopping trip in London would probably be a perfect activity to end with a tea party. Drink to thee, with thine eyes, in style!
Palace Grill
The Scandinavian Palace Grill does not exactly sound, or looks like a classy gourmet restaurant, but it is. This little humble but precious pearl serves delicacies of the highest class. There are drinks at the bar, and the wooden and slightly vintage style radiates a warmth perfect for couples. Although reservations are not possible as there is only space for 23 guests, this trendy restaurant is definitely a one of a kind and intimate experience to share with your better half.

A Disgusting and Macabre Chinese Journey.
Do people blog about disgusting and macabre dreams? I don't know. Here is something to cheer you up! My next book titled "Merchant of Macabre Dreams" is ready for writing. All I need is someone with the heart of little Alice, ready to be awed and terrified, someone who can't get up alone in the night for a wee. Curious? Dial M for Macabre Dreams.
It is really huge and crowded. I am inside some sort of a rail terminal with huge rounded roof but all very dark inside, amidst milling crowd of being who resemblance humans. Don't know if I am coming or going. Where to? Where from? No idea. Well, perhaps not much to write home about a dream. After all Chinese rail stations must be really crowded like anywhere in the world.
This is intriguing. I must be in a star hotel, in a lobby with high ceiling, heavily ornate wooden panels all around, smartly dressed hotel staff busily busying around amidst huge plants, greenery and fountains. Nothing unusual except I have no idea about which one it was. I have never stayed in a Chinese hotel or been to China.
This is the disgusting part. I am searching for something frantically. Though I feel being in a room I can still see the hotel staff and greenery around me. I am pulling off empty draws one after the other for whatever I was searching. Now you won't believe this. Suddenly, I am reliving myself in one of the draws I just pulled out. I can't believe it either. My very own s*** in a clean white draw with some of the hotel staff around me looking at it. I can't think of or remember their expression. Some of the girls were definitely giggling.
This is where it gets really exciting! I am in a bath room, standing under a really lavish warm shower. I look up and realise that there is no shower head. In fact the shower is pouring across from bath room next to mine, over a frosted glass wall. Suddenly, I notice through the glass the outlines of what looked like a female human body, covered in lather. Wow! Am I not lucky for a bonus gift from the hotel?
Well, not exactly. Suddenly the shower recedes and the body reaches out for a towel and wipe to reveal, what was more likely a male figure. Not very exciting, at least for me!
This is the macabre bit. All I know is that I am running down a hill leaving the tall building of the hotel amidst a lot of others, from a silhouette which looked like a busy down town. I have jumped inside a waiting bus. Now I look for an empty seat. This is where it gets really horrible. All I can see are strange human bodies with huge disfigured faces with waves of massive yellow wrinkles. Quite frightening! I move from body to body trying to jump out of the bus, with no success. Frankly there was nothing Chinese about this nerve shacking experience.
Perhaps my dream has very scientific explanation. I don't know. May be some one can throw some light.

Why The British Pubs Can Offer a More Romantic Experience Than the Olympics 2012 Games
If you ask me, the British country pubs can offer some of the best romantic experience of your life. Not theLondon pubs where you may have to jostle with a crowd for your pint of beer and then get in to a brawl with the barman over its head. Not even the Vic, where high drama of "EastEnders" plays out incessantly, not far from the Olympics venue.
If you are visiting the Olympics 2012 with the love of your heart, make sure to take some time out for a day or two to prom the British hinder land and stop by some of the numerous romantic pubs dotting its countryside. Who knows, you might even discover what love can truly feel like.
Imagine a sultry, wet and lingering afternoon in July in England when everywhere else the sun is shining. Hardly a time for romance. Yet if you walk in to a quiet country pub, you may be surprised how the ambience can be full of life and romance.
There is nothing unusual if you see a couple in their late forties or fifties enjoying the most loving of romantic moments, something you might have never seen in the best movies you can remember. The gentleman has turned his chair sideways and is sitting close to the lady, beholding her with the most ardent feelings of love he has ever felt. He is indeed oblivious of everything around him, even the glass of beer in his hand. The lady is quietly fondling his collar, ear or neck while still speaking some sweet nothing to him.
You may notice how the lady partner of a couple sitting across the table next to you, deep in some wild intimate conversation, ardently reach out to touch and affectionately fondle the forearm of her partner. You may feel yourself falling in to a romantic spell watching a younger couple on a corner sofa quietly stealing a smooch now and then in between gulps of their drinks. You may even be surprised how people in their eighties and nineties can still wear a lovelorn look.
Scenes, you might think, hardly ever to be seen outside the privacy of a living room. Scenes you won't certainly find in any American diner with their bus like seating style, often the background for famous movie episodes. Scenes far from the embarrassing and intimate sharing of 'huitre' and champagne in the crowded bistros of Paris, where you can find tourists who almost shout 'we don't care, we are on top of the world' while a female companion sucks out of an oyster shell held out by her lover.
It is difficult to say what makes the British country pubs so uniquely romantic. Perhaps it is the tradition of the pubs being managed by "land Lords" who also tend to play some pivotal role in the British social fabric. Often, the friendly and hospitable nature of the land lords and serving staff makes you feel at home, something which you definitely miss in the McDonald's or the restaurants of chain hotels attended by bearers in stiff uniforms.
The pub buildings themselves, most of which are preserved in original exteriors, in scenic settings, definitely help to build the ambience. But it is probably the interiors with their nooks and corners, and old style furnishing which break the monotonous ambience of large halls and offer some privacy, which must be appealing to most people. Though they weren't originally meant as meeting place for families, they are now the favourite places for a meal out with family and friends, especially with the gardens and play pens for children.
Quite a few of the country pubs also have acquired gastronomic and culinary status. In fact manye of the Michelin star restaurants in the UK are famous pubs.
In a land where Pubs are as much used as landmarks while giving directions as churches, they are part of the daily life without which life will seem almost impossible. But for visitors to Olympics 2012 games a visit to a old countryside pub can offer an experience they may not forget in life.
Is This the Most Romantic Window on the Earth ?
When it comes to the human body and its senses, there is no
one who understands more than the French.
The French are indomitable in satisfying the palette with food
prepared in the best quisine, vine, cheese and innumerable other things
including the French croissant. As for the smell, what smells better than a
French perfume? As for the eyes, from Mona Lisa to the high healed shoes of ValérieTrierweiler visual feast is the essence of French Haut Couture to modern
French architecture, exemplified by the Eiffel Tower. No wonder why Paris has
always attracted the most talented of artists, thinkers and philosophers and is
most sought after Romantic destination in the world.
But it is the human body itself the French has an exquisite
comprehension about, which is at the core of the Joie de vivre the French live
and die with and urge everyone else have in life. The French somehow have a
better notion of what the body is about like the Asians in general have an insight
in to the spiritual nature of life.
Perhaps this inane appreciation of human body is what has
produced the best designers, cooks and hoteliers from among the French. With all that appreciation of the French psyche,
however I was puzzled when I checked in to an ordinary hotel room, a few years back,
in a town in France where I had earlier lived and worked for years. I had never
seen anything like that!
A window on the inner
wall separating the bedroom from the attached bathroom. At first I was really
intrigued. But slowly, as I settled down arranging my wardrobe and setting up
my laptop on the table, the ingenuity of the interior designers and architects
slowly started to dawn on me. Of course,
I could have asked the receptionist about it, but chose not to in order to hide
my lack of culture. I wasn’t sure if the
feature was only for some rooms and I was specially offered one as an added
welcome gesture. Today, I don’t know if
the hotel still has those rooms rented out to guests.
I am sure a lot of people will have different ideas about
the purpose and utility of such a feature. But for someone who is looking
forward to spend an evening with someone with a ‘tete a tete’ with ‘huitre’ and
champagne and roses, the room with this romantic window should offer plenty of
extended pleasures one can imagine.
Years later, when France has elected a new President and
thinks nothing is abnormal or strange about his unmarried companion moving in
to the Elysee palace with him, it is a lot more easier to take in the sublime
imagination of the French designers who had conceived and incorporated this bizarre
feature which appeared to be unique.
Not sure if this is unique at all or there are many other
hotels with such exquisite add on facilities to make your stay more memorable
and perhaps offered as an incentive for you to come back. It will be good to
hear from others.
For anyone who has never come across this wonderful feature
and wants to check out, the hotel was a branch of Mercure Hotels in the town of
Evry, in the southern outskirts of Paris.

How Did Hillary Clinton’s Diplomacy Tour Turn in to an Indian Holiday, Winning Hearts?
When Hillary Clinton planned and set off to theFareast for what was supposed to be her farewell trip, no one expected the secretary of State and her team to fly right in to the eye of the most testing diplomatic storm of her career. It is remarkable that Hillary Clinton and her equipage left Beijing without being mauled beyond recognition by the Chinese dragons.
So no one can blame Hillary if she decided to take it easy, and give a scoot to her risky engagement with the Tigress of West Bengal, Mamta Banerjee, for some powder room diplomacy instead. Mamta Banerjee had recently got rid of the communists who wrecked the state and its economy during past 24 years and has opposed US investment in India in the retail sector.
In political terms Mamta Banerjee has every quality of a Tiger, an endangered species of wild cats, for which the Sundarban forest of West Bengal is a protected sanctuary and tourist attraction.
Hillary and her team had planned to engage the mercurial leader for extracting concessions for US investment, which she was vehemently objecting. It was part of the larger recognition that power in India no longer resides simply in New Delhi and the U.S. must engage with regional leaders.
Instead, Hillary simply turned her trip in to a charm offensive with her 'namaste' (Indian way of greeting by holding your paws together) and winning smile, making everyone smile and pour accolades and genuine affection on the US Secretary of state, even implore her to contest the presidential in 2016.
Hillary and her team spend the time visiting its Heritage and engaging with its citizens in various cultural programmes though reports say that there were enough of discussions on what she wanted to exchange with the chief minister, which was played down by Mamta and the Indian press.
"I know for myself how difficult it is for women to get elected anywhere," Clinton said in Kolkata. "When I meet a woman who's broken through those barriers. . . we share a common bond, if you will, having gone through the fire of electoral politics."
There is no wonder why Hillary Clinton chose more to explore the lighter side of Kolkata, with which not only the British East India Company but many other famous personalities like Mother Theresa and Dominique Lapierre, the author of 'City Of Joy' were enamoured in the past.
However, it must be the spirit and emotional character of this city, in which it is hard to find a citizen who wants to migrate elsewhere, despite its din and dizzle and mass of population, which must have rubbed on the US Secretary of state and made her declare: "I want to come back to India and wander about without the streets being closed,"
Despite the sweltering heat of the Indian summer, Kolkota, which was the first British capital of India with many heritage buildings and history, has a lot to offer for a tourist with some spirit of adventure.

Why Are Italian Captains, Like Costa Cruise, Not The Flavour Of The Month?
The New Year so far had not been a lucky one for the Italian sea faring lot, especially the captains of the Italian vessels. First there was the Costa Concordia disaster, resulting in the death of several people which, many believe, could have been avoided by timely action of its captain Francesco Schettino and the Costa Cruise Company. In fact the scandalous behavior of the captain has gone in to the history books with his arrest on charges of his having caused the shipwreck
"owing to ... imprudence, negligence and incompetence" resulting in deaths, having abandoned about 300 people "unable to fend for themselves", and "not having been the last to leave" a shipwreck”
Even before the dust from the biggest disaster of the year so far has settled and the agony and pain from the disaster, with seven people still unaccounted, lingering for several families and their relatives, another Italian vessel, its captain and marines employed for its protection are embroiled in a International row on account of two unarmed fishermen from Kerala, a southern Indian State, who were shot dead on the high seas.
If the circumstances which lead to the Costa Concordia disaster were unbelievably insane, given the safety standard one would take for granted in the 21st century maritime life, the events which lead to the death of the two fishermen and the arrest of the Italian marines by the local police of an Indian state are right out of an exotic thriller.
Apparently the unbelievable incidence of shooting from a bobbing ship, killing precisely two unarmed persons in a bobbing and approaching boat, took place in broad daylight, in Indian waters at the orders of its captain!
The Italians claim that the ship and the pirates they shot at with warning shots away from targets, eventually thwarting the pirates and their boat from approaching the ship, were different from the boat and the fishermen who were killed.
Once again, an Italian Captain is in the centre of a controversy for lack of clarity and straight forward explanation of an in incident which has blown out of all proportions and grown in to a major international and diplomatic row between India and Italy.
So far, Italian ministers who have flown to India were unable to dissolve the issue which has become a maddeningly sensitive enough to upset the results of a local election, vital for the ruling congress party with stakes in the state and central government.
The incidence has also brought up severe lack of clarity as to the onus among the ship owners, the Italian navy and the Italian government regarding culpability of shooting and murdering innocent unarmed foreign nationals from Italian owned vessels in international waters.
To add further to the pain and lack of trust of the people of coastal Kerala , which look at the whole incidence with suspicion, another boat has been sunk in a collision with a ship, which has gone without reporting the incidence, killing two fishermen with three others missing.
When you consider the fate of the latest Costa Cruise vessel Costa Allegra, which went out of power supply and had to be towed from high seas, leaving its passengers with out food and other necessities for three days, it looks like the maritime diversions from life are certainly jinxed, at least for the Italian sea men!

What Makes Even The Russians Go On A Pilgrimage To Sabarimala?
Though it is a gross exaggeration to call the recent
visit of twelve Russians to Sabarimala the ultimate
capitulation of Marxism Leninism to the Indian Mythology, the event has opened
a rare and unique
travel experience to people from all over the world who seeks exotic
adventure of a different kind.
If you are not a woman under menopausal age and if you are
willing to do a spiritual
penance for 41 days, abstain from eating meat and enjoying sex in your
thoughts and life, let your hair and beard grow uncut and lead a Spartan
existence, then you can venture in to this life changing trip to Sabarimala which
more than 50 million Indians of all religions already make every year!
For the team of Russians
from Moscow led by Induchoodan, who has made this trip more than fifteen
times and who practices Ayurveda, the ancient Indian system of medicine, this
unique pilgrimage to Sabarimala has probably come to mean what it does for
millions of Indians:
